I'm very pleased to introduce our first new Hidden Fairways course, Cumberland Golf Club, in Pinson, Alabama. If you live in the Birmingham area, or are traveling thru, you should drop by. Until Labor Day, the course is offering a "Buy One, Get One Free" deal on green fees with paid cart fee, so it's exactly the right time to give them a try.
I first visited Cumberland Lake Golf Club in July, when GolfBuddy asked me to map the course. I liked it immediately. For me, golf is a visceral experience. Give me a beautiful property, a great superintendent and an owner who cares and I fall in love! I was nervous when I returned to photograph the course for this web site, though. Since this was the first new addition to HF... and since I am so confident in the quality of the original 15 Hidden Fairways courses... I am determined not to add any lesser courses to the community. What if Cumberland Lake didn't stand up on second look? Great news! It does. I'd happily play this course any time and am thrilled to recommend it to you.
